ALONG WITH: Insubordination: The human clans rebel against thier leaders in a CLAN LEADER VS CLAN match up, starring Alpha Draconis and W-Y Corp! (AD don't know it yet tho, XD)
Camp Omega: Without a doubt, the finest training facility in the known galaxy, with all the upgrades and training equipment that money could possibly buy. It is here that the deadliest of Humanity gather to see if they have what it takes to defend thier species. Warriors are made, or broken, here. Located on the grim death-world of LV-474, the location of the infamous "Acid Reign" incident, where an entire Platoon of Colonial Marines lost thier lives, it is set within one of the gigantic mountains that rise from the pockmarked crust of the planet and stab towards the sickly green clouds in defiance of gravity itself. Such a mountain hardly appears to be natural, so jagged and menacing it's appearance, so grim and lifeless. It does not even appear habitable, from the outside.
Almost a decade after that ill-fated massacare, the owners of the now destroyed colony that had originally existed on this grim, acid-drenched world returned to turn this shunned, isolated alien hellhole. An elite armed force at it's disposal, all surviving Targets were wiped out, clearing the planet for it's destined purpose. Now, the planet is a hive of activity. Filled with elite Corporate Soldiers, Brilliant Scientists and the Convict Labour Force that has toiled to turn the insides of the three largest mountains into perfectly hidden fortresses. The smallest of these Mountains is home to Camp Omega.
Emblazoned on the cleverly hidden airlocks that lead from the outside to the hidden interior of these three mountain holds is the gold and silver logo of the powerful Weyland-Yutani Corporation. The first true Super-Company to emerge, it was created when the robotics empire Weyland Industries merged with the Japanese military research giant Yutani Corporation. With thier arms in Terraforming, Colonizing, Labour, Defence Contracts and anything else that can get them money, the Corporation has become even more powerful than the Nations of Earth itself.
When it became clear that the elite Colonial Military was unable to destroy the threat of the twin alien species codenamed Xenomorph and Predator, the Corporation decided to create it's own military to deal with the threat. Made up of the deadliest combatants that humanity has to offer, armed with the finest arms and armour that money can buy, and trained extensively to deal with threats that no man should have to face, the Corporate Military is housed on LV-474, a base from which they plan to wipe the Xenos from Humanity's sight. Recruited from the Colonial Marines, the Convict Labourers and Mercenary circles, they are all trained at Camp Omega.
Pervading the air all throghout the planet is the thick stench of acid, the odd musk of the unique rock that makes up the planet's entire surface and the grim scent of a hundred tonnes of rock hanging above oneself. No matter how deep in the mountains you go, the constant battering of rain on rock can be heard, as if the entire skies had decided to make conquest on the ground, and were trying desperately to breach the rock. Such things as seasons, as summer or winter, do not exist on this planet. The ecosystem and measurements of time are a single monotone, with the cload cover so thick that one cannot see the weak sun that fails to create proper day or night.
The wind whips throghout the skies and tunnels of the planet, whistling around the mountains to create a constant scream, as if the long-dead inhabitants of this planet still made thier death cries. Further in the tunnels, one cannot hear it, but the closer to the outside you go, the more audible it gets. The scream of LV-474 has driven people from thier very sanity before, and no doubt will do so again. That is why only the bravest or most determined of Convicts elect to be taken to LV-474. Although there is the chance of escape by joining the W-Y military, insanity and death is a constant risk. This is a place where the human mind is tested to the limit.
The sun that LV-474 orbits is ancient, and weak. It is the main indicator of how truly ancient the planet itself is. The sun is invisible throughout the clouds, and is unable to take the deadly chill from the planet. On LV-474, it is constantly twilight, neither Day nor Night make thier presence known here. And if the monotone and wind don't drive you insane, if the rain doesn't kill you or despair take your soul, then you will surely die from the cold. Although outside it is below freezing, there is no snow, no ice. Only the constantly flowing rivers that are death to touch.
The rain is the cause for the grim state of this planet. From the sickly green clouds pours a constant monsoon of deadly, corrosive acid rain. The rain has scorched the very life from the planet, making it a cold, dead husk. The rock of this planet is oddly immune to the acid qualities of the rain, although normal erosion has created deep ravines and underground rivers, lakes and oceans, and have made the gigantic mountains of LV-474 honeycombed with tunnels. You never know wether a tunnel is safe to walk through, or if it will suddenly fill with Acid Rain, without warning.
Day and Night are artifically determined by the lighting of the inside. No-one ever ventures outside the mountains. By day, the labourers work in the mines, deep below the mountains themselves, mining this precious acid-proof ore. It is deadly work, and the survival rate is low, and petty crime, murder and other unspeakable acts are a constant threat. It is a place where one must fight for survival. Two of the mountains have a Convict force labouring there. Camp Omega does not. Up higher, things are better. The Corporate Military trains and practises, perfecting thier deadly craft in the middle levels. By day, the mountains are a hive of activity.
By night, the lights grow dark and the fatality rate rises. People go missing, never to be seen again. Mostly, the Convicts are affected by this. Some say the place is cursed. Despite constant searches, the Corporate Military has been unable to determine the cause of these murders. The only activity seen at night is the patrols of the Corporate Prison Guards, the howl of the wind and the occasional scream. Up in the highest levels of the mountains, the Weyland-Yutani Research Teams go about thier studies and expereiments, their work a mystery to all others.
It is here that Weyland-Yutani's powerbase is located. It is here where thier army is housed. Intruders are shot on sight, and security is unbeliavably high. Before the Corporates can face the ultimate test of war against a superior foe, the must first pass the many challenges of Camp Omega.
