I asked Mr. Christopher Tipton if the rumours that AvP2 is in the writing stages, his answer was that FOX was very happy with how AVP performed in the theatres are waiting to see how the film does on DVD before deciding on a sequel.
So if you want to see AvP2 go buy a DVD.
