A yautja called Guan-Hult'ah or Dark Guardian by his enemies is a new and able hunter. He is known by clanmates as Predator428. He was born in a small family aboard one of the larger of the nomadic clanships, under the control of clan Balatu. His family was normaly treated as anyone by their fellow yuatja, but many held their name in contempt. The reason for this happended twenty years after Predator428's birth, after his father had suffered a breakdown. He had alwasy been known for his ferocity and frequent disregard for the honor code, but his next move came as a shock to his fellow yautja.

During the human year of 1715, Predator428's father accompanied a few members of the future City Hunter's clan on a hunting trip on earth. The group stalked and wiped out a small colony on the east coast of North America. The hunt would have gone on perfectly if a group of privateers had not chosen that same day to attack the colony. The new humans caught the yautja group off guard, three of the nine hunters were lost during the fighting. When the battle came down to the human captain, Predator428's father, and the leader of the hunting party, the human's life was spared. The party leader decided that the captain had fought honorably and gave the man his wristblades as a sign of honor. In return, the captian gave the hunter his pistol. An extreme hater of humans, Predator428's father took this exchange as an insult to his name. He stabbed the human in the back and attacked his hunt leader.

The remaining yautja jumped into the battle to protect their leader and kill Predator428's father. He killed the less experienced attackers but was beaten down by the hunt leader. The leader stripped him of his honor and declared him a Bad-Blood. Predator428's father was allowed the customary one day to run before he was declared open game for all yautja to kill. Predator428's father became a legend that day, turing into a physicopathic killer of humans and yautja. The name of his family was forever marked by the betrayl.

As Predator428 reached his teenage years, he began to beome very withdrawn, thought of as partialy insane by the other inhabitants of the clanship. He had spent his whole childhood listening to his father's teachings of hatred towards humans and disrespect for honor, knowing he was wrong but not wanting to disrespect him. A few months after his father's dishonorment, a group of yautja came across Predator428 in corridor. The group attacked Predator428 and viciously beat him. The attack was too much for him to take. Using the techniques learned from his father, Predator428 threw myself at his opponents and beat them to a state of near death.

After enthusiasticly beating him up, the ship's arbitors took Predator428 to see the clan elder Predator. He was sure that his death awaited in that room but instead of killing him, the elder of Balatu gave him a choice. He was impressed with Predator428's abilities and said that if he was willing to give up his family name that his father had cursed, then he would accept him into his clan.

Predator428 accepted the offer. He was assigned a mentor to show him how to hunt with honor and to suppress the dishonorable teachings of his father. Predator428 was trained for many months learing self control and discipline. He recieved endless hours of weapons trainning and was told tales of his clan's triumphs. When his training was complete, he was taken to an enormous room filled with every kind of armor and weapons imaginable. His mentor told him to pick my weapns but Predator428 refused. He journed to a nearby planet to create his own armor. He landed in a huge quarry made of strong metals. He toiled for days constructing his weapons to near perfection as he assembled an arsenal that would take the heads of many prey to come.

Predator428 was given his first opportunity for a clan hunt during the disaster at Delta 3039. When a research lab full of xenomorph warriors on the planetoid had been comprimised, a squad of the Alpha-Draconis division where sent in to contain the outbreak. The two clanships of Balatu and Hunter's Moon staged an hunt. Predator428 and his fellow hunters Venom, The-Wolf and Shadowatching were sent down with a large group of the Balatu unblooded. After skinning a large portion of the soldiers above ground, Predator428 traveled deep underground in the heart of the facility. He soon found the alien warrior Waralien, and attacked. After a lengthy battle, Predator428 emerged holding Waralien's head. He blooded himself with his new kill and became a true hunter of Balatu.

When the an AD vessel came into the system to reinforce marine control, a Planet Killer nuke was launched on the surface. Predator428 and a few of his fellow hunters had managed to evacutate in their pods, but many predators died on the surface. When Predator428 returned to the space fareing-base of his clan, he sought out Shadowatching. Predator428 despised her for her human parentage and hated her acceptance into the clan. He took it upon himself to "remove her existance from the clan." Predator428 challenged her to a brawl. Both combatants took severe injury, but Predator428 ended up with his neck torn open. He would have surely have died, if not for the help Shadowatching who provided aid. Predator428 was grateful for her actions and decided to try and accept her as his clanmate.

Predator428's social behavior is very light and friendly. He is usually the first to make a joke and always enjoys hearing the stories of his clanmate's hunts. He is quick to make friends and can make his fair share of enemies. Predator428 is not one to ask for help, but will take it graciously. One injury to his personality from his father is triggered when he is sufficiantly angered or provoked. Predator428 retreats into himself and alwasy comes out a darker person afterwards. He is much more likely to bend the code of honor when in this state and a much more dangerous yautja to fight.

During a hunt, Predator428 likes to stalk his potential prey and observe their habits and patterns. While sniping and laying intricate traps for his opponents is a great skill of his, Predator428 prefers to kill his prey face to face. While in combat, Predator428 can easily get emotionaly involved during his fights. He typicaly relies on his rage and excitment to fuel his strength and power as he pummels his enemies with heavy strikes.

Predator428 is about 300 years old and 7"5, 390 pounds. His mask is similar in desgin to the Gort Predator from City Hunter's clan. The only major exception to the desgin is a row of three small spikes down the forehead. His armor takes desgins from the Jungle Hunter and the Wolf. Its color is mainly black with red and silver symbols etched into the plating. His face bears resemblance to the City Hunter and the Wolf. Three large slash marks, caused by some unknown battle now scars his face. Predator428's forearm has Waralien's hand print burned into the flesh from an acidic attack. His skin has a main coat of brown with smaller highlights of dark green. His weapons consist of dual wristblades, combistick, serrated smart disk, netgun, speargun, dual short swords, laser grid emitters and a plasma cannon.

I first saw Predator when I was six and I loved the movie. I then saw the alien movies about two years later. I loved those too but I just like preds better. I first found out about avp when I saw the game Extiction back in 2002. It got me interested and I found out about the upcoming movie. I thought the movie in 2004 was alright but a slight disappointment. When I found out about the sequel I looked online for info and found this site.
