MESSAGE BOARD RULES

• No spamming. Junk posts and off topic discussion will be removed immediately.
  
• No flaming/cussing/insulting other members. Instigation or continuation of this behaviour will see you issued a warning or possibly, banned.
  
• No excess profanity - swearing is accepted, but in moderation.
  
• No Backseat Modding. We don't need other people stepping in to intervene. If in a situation that is out of hand, please contact one of the site moderators and things will be dealt with, accordingly.
  
• Only ONE account per member. Any members without a valid excuse for having alternate identities will be warned and possibly, face a ban.
  
• Signatures are allowed in the form of imagery - no embedded videos or music. The signatures must conform to our size ruling. (See sig section for details)
  
• As mentioned - No embedding of video or music into the forum, please add hyperlinks if wanting to display such media. Ignorance of this may result in a warning.
  
• When posting, please remember to keep your posts legible and check your spelling, undecipherable topic entries make it hard for other members to read and understand what you are explaining, please take this into consideration.
  
• You may use HTML in your posts, but refrain from using code that effects the layout or efficient working of the forum.
  
• When requesting to join a Clan or asking for a signature, please ensure to post your comment in the official clan/sig topics on the board.
  
• Above all, it is important to remain courteous and respectful of other members' opinions at all times, We are part of a tight community and appreciate the ability to remain in harmony with one another when discussing topics of interest.

  Signatures
  
  
• "Sigs" are permitted for use on the board by all members, they are to be no more than 460x120 pixels, anything over this will incur possible warnings if not removed.
  
  
• Sigs are to be alien/predator themed only, & must not contain any pornography or offensive material.
  
  
• Members are only permitted to use one sig at a time.
  
  
• Do not make requests for image editing programs on this forum, as we do not supply them here.
  
  
• The code to display sigs in your profile is: <IMG SRC="youraddresshere">.
  
  Clans
  
  
• Clans can only be accessed by members once they have been granted permission by the Leader or Sub-Leader.
  
  
• Request to join Clans in the Official Request Topics only, any other topics created will be deleted.
  
  
• A member may only be in one Clan at a time, with the exception of "Sanctuary of the Clans", which moderators are only allowed access to.
  
  
• Leaving a Clan to join another will more than likely result in the original Clan Leader not allowing you to return afterwards if you change your mind.

  RPGs
  
  
• RPGs are stories written collectively by the site members with the characters of those members being physically involved in the storylines.
  
  
• Members are able to fight & kill each other during the RPGs, although you must wait until you have made at least 5 posts in battle before attempting to kill another participant, meaning 6 posts in total.
  
  
• Cheating in RPGs, such as making your character unrealistically strong, or altering the storyline in unfeasible ways will not be tolerated, & your posts will be removed in cases like this.
  
  
• Setting up a storyline & tense beginning is crucial to all RPGs, do not begin to fight or attempt to kill other members until at least after the first 4-5 pages.
  
  
• Members are only permitted to play as an alien, predator, or marine (as well as synthetics), this includes several alien variations, such as facehuggers, chestbursters, predaliens & "runners".
  
  
• Ignoring damage dealt to your character may result in the deletion of your posts.
  
  
• Newer members or ones with lower rank points should feasibly not be able to defeat higher ranking members the same as ones with lower ranks. Depending on how a particular member has altered their stats, the outcome of the battle should change (eg. you cannot overpower someone with more strength points than you).
  
  
• Only weapons & abilities seen in the films are to be used, this includes:
  
  Predator weapons: Wristblades, combistick, netgun, speargun, plasmacaster, dagger, naginata, shortsword, shuriken, smartdisc, energy flechette, serrated whip, bandolier mines. The medicomp is to be used only once per RPG, the self destruct is also allowed, but must be worked into the story (eg. blowing up several other members unfairly is forbidden, unless in the case of a finale).
  
  Marine weapons: Knife, pistol, shotgun, pulse rifle, smartgun, minigun, grenade launcher, flamethrower.
