Derelict Analysis
|
Description
Having analysed the Derelict phenomenon the following conclusions were reached:
- The Derelict had a huge cargo bay which indicates it was some sort of transport ship.
- Only one crewmember was found inside. And its origin is still unknown.
- The conditioned positioning of the eggs and the architectural style of the room containing them suggests they were purposively placed there for transport.
- The protective layer that covered the eggs reacted when crossed, very similarly to an alarm. Its probable function was to warn the pilot in case something went wrong.
- The fact that the signal was a warning and not an SOS indicates the pilot knew what was happening. Which leads to the theory he was transporting the eggs.
- Recent facts indicate there is an alien species, known as Predators or Yautja, which likes to breed and hunt the Aliens.
These are merely speculations but it's a strong possibility that the derelict ship was an alien transport in service of the Predators.

According to the book Original Sin, Which is supposed to be a continuation of Alien Resurrection, Earth's Government was in league with the ... thing in the Derelict ships' Government. Everything that happened in the first movie was meant to happen. I, however, find the Fourth Alien movie, though unique from the others in a good way, Highly offensive to the Alien Universe. I mean, C'mon! It's a big joke! Everytime I watch the first movie, it chills me to the bone. The Second, still chilly, yet testostoroney. The third, still a little freaky. Resurrection, yawn.
